Profile: Nathan Turnbull

Although I have spent most of my working life as a computer engineer I originally trained as an illustrator and have a Higher National Diploma in Technical Illustration.

My fist job was working for GEC-Marconi as a Graphic Artist, the sort of job you might expect me to take, but as computers took over I became more and more involved in their use and within four years I was part of an IT support team. Now after fifteen years I am out of that business, which has given me the opportunity to go back to art.

I am now an Artist in Residence at the Brevon Art Gallery Doncaster, working as a self-employed artist and taking commissions.
